If you go down to the woods today......

We went down to the woods today - and got a big surprise!
Merlin and I had one of our one-to-one outings - we went to Oxburgh Hall to explore the grounds (the House is closed until February 10th). Some of the woodland was out of bounds due to trees down in the wind last week but there was still plenty that was accessible. The Snowdrops and Aconites are coming out throughout the woods but are not yet at their peak. What was a surprise was this collection of chainsaw art beside the stream where some trees had been felled. It looked freshly done and was of woodland and water creatures - not to scale - the otter was the biggest! There was an otter, an owl, a swan and a bat - see extras for individual pics. We finished the walk off with jacket potato and cheese in the tearoom, which was open and permits dogs inside - that does not mean Merlin got anything though!
