Farmers’ market

...in a neighbouring village; there weren't many stalls and too few customers...

The Mayor was in the Town Hall adjacent to this market square - inviting people to discuss the 300 houses that they are planning to build on green fields next to the school grounds. The atmosphere was gloomy amongst the local citizens similar to the weather (cold and wet).
