Meerkats and Maniacs

This morning the weather was a bit damp.
I was planning on wearing my boots so when I got dressed I did not pay much attenton to my choice of socks.

As usual by the time I left the house I was rushing to be on time for my bus.
Boots take time to lace so I slipped on my shoes as I left the house.

It was not until I was sitting on the bus that I realized I was wearing black shoes, grey work trousers and PINK MEERKAT SOCKS!!!!
A fashion faux pas if ever there was one.

When I got home #3boy was in a state of great excitement.

One of the lads who plays on the same football team - The maniacs, has been 'scouted'. There has been interest from 4 teams, Wigan, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City!!!!
He has chosen to enter into talks with City.

The rest of 'The Maniacs' are really excited for him even though it will mean he will not be able to play on the team if he signs with Manchester City.
He is their top goal scorer and will be missed but they are all really pleased for him.
They met up for a 'kick around' at the all weather pitch this evening just to get together and have a chat :-)))
