Under the Wind Turbine back blipped 27th Jan

Went to the hairdressers and then to Tesco to top up all the supplies and some nibbles for tonight.

Alveston has recently had a wind farm installed??? anyway small groups were invited to go and find out about them.  Standing underneath you were dwarfed and it was interesting to hear about all the ins and outs of the project.  Apparently they first started looking into it in 2008 and it actually went live November last year.  They claimed that  40% of our energy came from the wind (we think that was probably one day but quite a lot is generated it seems) . It was an interesting talk and they have plans for harnessing the excess in batteries.  Being a mere female a lot of this went oer my head.   
Anyway if was very cold and fortunately also dry.  My blip today is taken under one of the turbines.  Apparently the off shore ones are even bigger.

Then back home and got a few snacks ready and had a good evening  with  E&B
