today turned out to be a great day :-) after the boring morning at work was out the way i spent the afternoon planting hundreds of scilla bulbs and quite a few foxglove which was nice as it was a gorgeous sunny afternoon and i also got a lesson on layering and air layering - amazing! in the evening i was meant to meet jean to make a bug hotel out of the old sweetcorn plants, however the centre had been shut up early so she suggested that we went to a textile exhibition at the costume gallery - it was really interesting and we also took part in an embroidery workshop to make a wall hanging whilst enjoying indian snacks and yummy indian chai :-) the lady who ran the workshop was a real talent. i also found out about some knitting workshops - hurrah! i feel inspired again :-)
