The Ruby

'The Ruby' is a 2.5k swim, (1 lap of the island).  It took just over an hour to swim for the top competitors.  Perfect weather, with lots of entries.  (I haven't heard the exact  numbers yet).  The first extra is of the spectators waiting for the swim to start.

From there I went to croquet, 14 of us there, this time in the morning, before the heat of the day.  It's +34C!!  The hottest day yet this summer.  The second extra is of the croquet greens.  Looks like they had some sprinklers on overnight.

Air con time.  (btw got one mouse, probably another one enjoying the cooler indoors!!)
