Bird of Paradise with a Bird of Paradise

I went out to the local garden center in search of some flower color. The problem? This time of year...even in Florida...there is not much in bloom. I was snapping what was available, when I heard a familiar tweet.

The woodpecker was warning off some other birds in "HIS" territory, and posed for me on the iconic plant. To me...it was Flower Friday...with a bonus.
