Man, that day just went nuts.
From the start - 2 hours of tapping a keyboard to earn a crust; then to school for 9 to pat the kids on the head for half an hour at what is called a folio coffee morning.
From there, a £50 rummage in Lidl (no blips; not at that price) and by shortly after 11 it was Qupi to meet up with tax exiles (!) arclight and Mr A for coffee and a guided tour of what remains of the Billboard exhibition. Coffee and chat was good.
The dad head went back on as I returned to school for the little dahlings and off home for lunch; back out to the bus stop in a cool but bright almost spring day.
An afternoon of refereeing and cooking and diplomacy and incredulity at the interest shown in the blip community blog; mine as well as the Ciglettes.
And a near perfect 10 was blemished right at the end but we coped and came home for meatballs and goulash sauce (a Tom fave).
So began Friday Football (ahead of Soccer Saturday) - Yeovil Town v Man Utd live on BBC. It was OK; but tomorrow's visit to real fitba promisies to be much more visceral.
Thank you all for the kind comments for all the journals on the community blog; you're a great bunch to hang out with.
