OMG

What a day! proverbially dropped in at the deep end in a strange  ( if architecturally  stunning) place. I had drawn the straw ( i lived nearer !) to go work for the day at one of our other local libraries/link office. And as this photo shows it really is a special building, it is  Grade 2 listed and has a fantastic history having been used for a variety of different purposes such as an orphanage  and annex to a school and currently being used as a library and local link. It was originally build by a wealthy land owner Thomas Tombleson in 1854.
The building is defiantly several notches up on the style and beauty fronts from where i normally work from thats for sure :)
