One to forget

Opportunities for photography were limited today as we are flying home this evening. After the midday ferry, the plan was to park the car, walk a bit, have some lunch and then go to the airport. Walking was out of the question as the wind was blowing a gale. The area is well known for kite sailing and there were plenty of enthusiasts out on the water. I just didn’t want to get any sand in my camera and we were looking straight into the sun as we were sitting in the car. Looking in the other direction was this monstrosity. I can remember the objections but obviously the planners got their way and this has been constructed. I don’t know if they have found anything. Anyway we enjoyed our fish lunch before heading to the airport and homeward bound. Heavy rain greeted us at the UK end and sleep evaded us after getting into bed about 2am, finally getting to sleep about 3 and then waking up at 7.30.
