Hope springs eternal

An appropriately uplifting day of beautiful weather today. Out round the river this morning and up to the castle this afternoon. It’s crisp, clear and cold. Everything is still hibernating for winter but the spring bulbs are up and the snowdrops are out. Very good to see them emerging.
