Behind the Scenes

The BBC Good Food Show Scotland opens its doors on Friday 19th Oct at the SECC in Glasgow. This is one of the larger consumer exhibitions at the SECC and takes up around 13,000 square metres. The construction crew turn this space from an empty shell into a fully working exhibition and theatre in just 48 hours.

This is a shot of the main theatre being built in Hall 5 - you can see the huge lighting trusses in the background about to be winched into position and the mixing desk in the foreground being prepared.
