Out on a limb...

Dear Diary,

There are a couple of new grey squirrels hanging around giving Gaylord and Squirrel Nutkin fits.  This is one of them, high up in the tree in front of the house.  He is all puffed up in our cold temperatures, 10F this morning.  At least it is above zero!  He sat there for the longest time just staring out into his world.  Probably planning a full scale attack on the seed bowls!

I am so happy that there appears to be no major storms in the near future.  I saw this little ditty on Face Book the other day and I have to say I totally agree:  Noses are red and fingers are blue, I'm fed up with winter, how about you?
