Lonely Gladdie

The planter boxes in Blackheath have been looking very shabby, but recently some civic minded citizens have taken it upon themselves to replant them.
When I asked about the gladdie I was told that it had popped up of its own accord.
It looks a picture, set as it is against the Great Western Highway.
I've added a couple of extras of local shops showing national pride on Australia Day.
The first is of a corner of Bruce's Butchery and Bruce has added a caricature of himself to spice up the display.
The second is of the Vegie Patch.

The gladdie reminded me of Barry Humphries, and I quote from him in my nod to Australia Day.
"I love Australia - I think."
