A hard day's night, pt 2

It didn't rain during working hours, luckily. Rain began when we were driving home and it's still raining, almost 7 hours later. There's certainly been enough rain for this autumn. There are still black flies in the forest which is unusual in October. And I also encountered a few deer flies. It's been a few weeks since I last saw them.
