We walked up to Howe Ridding with Jo the Conservation Manager to see how the felling of an area of conifer plantation was progressing. The fell is finished and they are well into the extraction. There seems to be a huge amount of timber, which is destined for biofuel generation.
Unfortunately Pepper decided to do something rather out of character and disappeared! We spent about an hour looking for her and calling before she decided to reappear looking slightly sheepish. I had been wondering how to break the news of her loss to Graham! That would not have been good on his 30th birthday !
