Rain over Manchester

We've had some hellish showers today - hail and thunder mostly. I do love a good thunderstorm though, especially at night when I'm tucked up in bed :) I remain hopeful that there may be another one later for me to enjoy.

I just love the colours in these clouds and the contrast between the top and bottom.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I've had a royalty payment for the cook book so now I'm spending far too much time looking at DSLR porn (secondhand, but nevertheless... exciting!) If anyone has any suggestions for where to look please let me know - but preferably not eBay.
