in October. My brother Phill and I set out for a walk to gather fallen walnuts. The Route de la Noix du Périgord winds its way through the walnut growing landscapes of the Corrèze, Lot and Dordogne valleys, offering four main varieties: Franquette, Grandjean, Corne and Marbot.
