My 1000th blip...
and fittingly an image taken from the hill where stands my "folly", the property currently under renovation by myself and my brother Phill (the Old Count described me as "the fool on the hill", which appropriately).
The view shows sunset on the town of St Céré and the prominent chateau of St-Laurent-Les-Tours, where the artist Jean Lurçat lived and worked for many years, and from which he operated a secret radio for the French Resistance. The castle houses a collection of his works.
