Songbird

Over at Metheringham today. There is indoor bowls on TV currently, and as my Dad is a bowls enthusiast and still plays himself, we've been watching it. It's not the most riveting, and I'd say the average age of live audience members is 70 minimum! Today it was women bowlers and I don't know why they have separate events for male and female contestants, as either of these would have wiped the floor with the blokes...Unless that is why, haha! 


 I saw this little sparrow on the walk to my folks' this morning whilst it was still sunny. I heard him before I saw him! I took a shot, then took a few steps closer and took another. I did that about 4 times! This was the closest one, then I went on my way without having disturbed him.
