St Clement's Church, Ashampstead.

This morning, Mum and I went out for a while to enjoy the countryside and visit a particularly good butchers. On the way back, we stopped briefly and I took a little look around St Clement's church in Ashampstead. The last time I came here was with Dad and we almost got locked in! Today, it was just me and I savoured the few minutes of peace, stillness and beauty. This church has been around since the 12th century and has some medieval wall paintings. I find it quite awe inspiring to think that people have worshipped here for around 900 years.
