Brother Tom

Martin’s big brother Tom has arrived safely and happy to have a break from Ho Chi Min City.

They went into town to complete some of Tom’s bank work and I stayed back to change Jon’s flights. We all had success in what we set out to do. After lunch, I took Tom to show him the North Plaza which he’d never been to before. We walked around there on the waterfront to the hotel and chapel and shops and decided to have a round of pool at the Bounty Bar.

He beat me ... twice! Evidence of their misspent youth, misspent downstairs in their house as they had a pool table growing up. Lucky chaps!

Back home to get ready to go out to Roberto and Elizabeth’s to celebrate Roberto’s birthday. A very lovely gathering of some of our closest friends here.
