Rabbie Burns

So today I decided to clean out the cupboard in my bedroom. (I’m off work this week but every day I’ve been ‘pretending’ to go otherwise I’d be inundated with various “I don’t feel well” texts from my daughters..... I know I know....... ridiculous efforts to go to :)

Jeezo I’m such a hoarder. If I had to pop my clogs, someone would take days to go through all the shit crap I’ve kept over the years........
So between my old Bunty n Judy annuals from the 80’s....... I once again found this book....... and then I got distracted taking pics of it......

Given and dated from 31st July 1882, to someone way back in my family.
The Poetical Works of Robert Burns.
And illustrated no less :)

My 1st thought was to flog it to be honest....
offers anyone....? :)

So anyhow it’s in a bit of a state. The binding has kinda died a death (no idea how much it would cost to possibly repair or if that’s even an option) but at least all the pages are there...... and it’s got a really old cool hardback cover....
