Floral tributes

If you saw yesterday’s photo, you will know that a very popular local homeless character, Steve, died at the weekend in his tent. Steve never asked for anything, other than the time, and though he lived in a tent, even in winter conditions, he always seemed cheerful. Many local people did support him, and he was such a nice person.
This floral tribute indicates how much he will be missed by everyone.
RIP Steve.
PS: A dog owner on the park has told me today that the Council did offer accommodation support for him, but that would have prevented him keeping his dog Bullseye, and he preferred/’chose’ to live in the tent rather than give up Bullseye. Police had problems when they went to the tent, as Bullseye was very protective, but the same source has fortunately told me that Bullseye already has new ‘owners’ - another tribute to how we ALL felt about Steve, and his dog.
