Gator Guide

After my last meeting of the day in Fort Lauderdale I still had an hour or so of sunlight so headed over to the Everglades Holiday park to take a tour. I grew up loving gentle ben so the idea of riding an airboat really excited me.
So I joined a group and headed off to look for Gators in the Swamp. We saw a few and got loads of great photos, but it was this guy who made my day. He was the driver and guide and his knowledge was amazing. He told great stories about being out in the swamp with his Grandfather alongside anatomy lessons of the Gators and their similarity with birds, right up to the use of gator hearts in human medicine.
