Playing with paints

I spend the day making books during a workshop in Peebles run by Isobel Hall who wrote the book Embroidered Books. As we had only today no embroidery was done but instead we went wild with pastels, alcohol inks and wax and also managed to sew our signatures together for the book. The paper we made and which is shown on the picture was used for the covers. As you can see I love my sparkle!
