Meet an Ancestor

I've had a day sorting paperwork today - I decided that I keep far too much stuff - so today the stuff got a spring clean (reduction). At the bottom of the filing cabinet was this picture that my Dad gave me many years ago. I knew it was there but had forgotten. Its one of the ancient Crawford family members from Oxfordshire. I believe it is James who was my Great Great Grandad. He was a shopkeeper, publican and he did a bit of farming too - he also had many sons & and daughter, though I'm surprised he had the time ! 

It was a quiet day until we got a call at 7pm from N asking if we could take her to see a Dr. She was feeling proper poorly again having had a cold / chest infection / virus since early November. She had been to see her Dr many times but nothing seemed to fix it. So tonight I dropped her & C at A&E then I went to the chippie and bought dinner for R & I. I went back to his & we ate it - lovely (Z was in bed of course). I'd just eaten the last chip when the phone rang to pick them up which I did. I then took N home before C & I went to the Chemist to get her prescription filled & returned with the antibiotics.....whew ! Fingers crossed that this sorts the problem out once & for all...

Home now in time to see Kiri 

Mild but with heavy rain for most of the day.
