Cat and bear!
When I was a little girl gift rarely were you bought things unless it was your birthday. However I remember very clearly a trip my mother ,my aunt and I went on to Bambrugh Castle. We went on the train, from probably Alnwick but I can’t remember, if and headed off for a day out. At The Castle I was quite taken aback when my aunt asked me if I would like these two little pottery figures from the shop. I was not used to such events and of course said YES! I have treasured them ever since. Worthless I know but a reminder of a lovely day out long ago and a favourite aunt. They reside in a little cabinet of tiny curiosities full of little reminders of my life .
The weather today continues to be appalling with heavy rain for a lot of it! I had a dental appointment which went well. A couple of minor things to do but nothing too serious.
Miss Whiplash our lady that straightens or backs out visited in an attempt to once again get all my bits back into their right places. A forlorn hope I sometime feel but she keeps trying. She also gave Mr Tbay a going over too. Tomorrow I will feel very much as if I have been 10 rounds with a prize fighter!!
Farming - Two on compost hauling.
Mr and Mrs Tbay Jnr arrived back after their mini break in Dartmouth which despite the weather they all enjoyed. Harry is now sitting up unaided too! How they change in such a short time. Little Miss is currently amusing Grandpa in our sitting room. Tee hee!
