Thaw
The snow has melted and as a consequence the river is very full. The tide has been rushing out for hours but the river is still bursting its banks. These trees are usually on the river’s edge. The allotments and Stirling County Rugby Ground are under threat and the bit of the Boating Club where the boats are kept is flooded. Luckily the club members got the boats out before the level rose too high. I imagine we’ve got a few days of this to go as there was a good covering of snow to melt into the river.
