Miss E and the Panda
On Tuesday night at Brownies Miss E was chosen to look after Peaches for the week. She has to keep a journal of what they get up to.
Today Peaches came with us to the cinema to see the fabulous Coco. We loved it!!
It's a lovely film - as beautiful as ever from Pixar and with a wonderful message about the importance of family, heritage, and keeping the past alive through the memories of the living.
I bawled at the end and even Miss E looked a bit misty eyed!!
On the way back to the car we were talking about how it's not part of our culture to remember our ancestors and that if no-one remembers them it's as if they didn't exist.
Miss E said she knows all about my Grandpa through going to Watford and she'll be able to tell her children about him. So he'll live on.
That almost made me cry again!
We quickly went to Dunelm to buy the right sized curtains and a new rug for the living room.
We're a bit obsessed with our new rug!! Mr K and I kept saying to each other at intervals all evening how much we love it!!
It gets wild in this house!!
Delicious roast beef for dinner tonight. With enough gravy to fill a bath. Perfect!!!
