Gallant Galanthus

Standing tall and proud when most else around is still sleeping, the humble snowdrop is one of my favourites.

What a grey day it was today, misty rain almost all day, temperature higher than it should be and a grey and undefined sky, but still good to be out in the garden.

At Mrs Long's house I cleaned and refilled the bird bath, as she had always wanted, removed some of the things her daughter had asked me to remove and then realised I was late leaving. I could see her knocking on the window and pointing at her watch, she was always insistent I left as promptly as I arrived!!
