No Lifeguard On Duty

Got up.

Went and picked up the kids and took them to school.

Walked the dog (a short walk - he refused to go far in case he drowned)


Went through to collect Bags after her tooth surgery (4 accidents on the motorway due to the torrential rain) - Surgery went better than expected.

Went on a tour of local shops to try and find cream of chicken soup for Bags (major shortage for some reason).

Had lunch with Bags.

Walked the dog (not quite as long as usual to avoid the next deluge).

Went and met the Usual Suspects to drop off a birthday card (only just manage to catch them while they hid from the rain at the garden centre Wet car park and  the sky that caused it).

Made the diner.

SWMBO arrived home after a day with MIL and getting finances sorted while there is still time (not much I fear)  (Her son is flying in on Thursday from USA)
