Ladies that lunch (and men)

WI lunch today (much better than the manic Christmas lunch) ...... and there were men there too!! (Husbands we’re allowed :) - mine was working and I hadn’t asked him).

When we arrived, we had to collect our name card - I thought I’d been given an alias ...... it was my choice of meal (carvery was the main course). Although I think Mushrooms banoffee pie sounds quite catchy ......

A lovely day, trip to Mum - who had decided that no matter what she wasn’t opening her eyes, but she didn’t mind giving me a kiss. I sat on the mattress on the floor (for safety in case she falls out of bed), it was quite warm in her room so nearly fell asleep. Back to get changed before lunch.

Lunch was good - I haven’t been with this WI for long and this year I haven’t attended much due to family and work commitments, - they are all so welcoming. Food was good and lots of chatting and laughter.
