On Westport Beach
10.8C with rain in the morning then a bright spell with some blue sky, then heavy squally showers in the afternoon. Wind S/SSW/SW/WSW/W to 24 mph with gusts to 34 mph moderating with the showers. Strong winds forecast through the night.
When we went out with Fergus after 11pm last night the cargo ship Rochefort had departed and the ship which had been anchored out in the loch, Jaguar, was at the old quay. When Fergus and I were out around 8am it was preparing for loading. Through the morning more wind turbine tower sections arrived by road to be loaded.
Apothecary7's day off.
We went to Westport beach late morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish. The beach was quiet again so Fergus had some off lead time for running about.
Later Apothecary7 was tidying in the studio then was applying gesso to Khadi paper.
I forgot to mention that on Sunday Apothecary7 had cut a lino block and made prints of a Puffer.
Afternoon music ... Blue Rose Code, Water of Leith.
