The Lady of Shalott

This is a postcard of one of the paintings I saw, yesterday, by Sidney Meteyard, painted in 1913 of The Lady of Shalott. (The poem was written by Alfred Lord Tennyson in 1832) and here she is resting from her weaving and seeing two young lovers walk by in her mirror.
