St Nicholas Garden, Townhead, Glasgow

We found this treasure this morning after my final check up at the Royal Infirmary. The railings surrounding the garden have all been beautifully designed to portray famous Scottish people. Top left is St Nicholas himself. The bottom three squares portray the wonderful artist Joan Eardley, who lived and worked in the area. The one in the middle is one of the girls from the Samson family that she loved to paint.
