Time with friends

Yesterday, instead of travelling all the way back to Edinburgh, I stopped off at Alnmouth and met up with The Boy and a group of our friends. B has done a weekend house swap with her parents and so we got a weekend in the country. We had great plans to go for walks, sea kayak, wild swim, generally enjoy the countryside, the rain on the other hand had different plans.

On a rainy afternoon, people gathered to play board games whilst I took up my favourite place in the kitchen and began prep for dinner. The lighting wasn't great as I took a sneaky shot of them in the middle of a game.
