Ooh the high flying life I lead. Tonight it was an ambassadorial reception...

A cycling exhibition (with assorted tag-along events) kicked off at the Botanic Gardens tonight, and after I'd contacted the Danish Cultural Institute which was organising it I received an invite, at which the Lord Provost and the Danish Ambassador (Mr Riis-Jorgensen) were in attendance. And not a bloody ferrero rocher in sight.

For the record the bike is a Velorbis, and what really came out of a lot of this is we have a lot to learn from the Danes (and that so much of what they did was not a grand plan, just happy circumstance).
