Today I got the devastating news that Jasper has cancer, mesothelioma to be precise.
It’s usually associated, in humans, with contact with asbestos and is rare in cats.
To my knowledge, he has never worked in the asbestos removal industry, so we’re not going along the compensation route.
We are, however, going down the alternative medicine route, as there is nothing the vet can offer.
Currently, he seems well, apart from a swollen abdomen, which is as a result of fluid being exuded by the cancer cells.
