Kelly's Cat.

Such a wintery day today... I decided to go for boots, a wooly jumper and my new jacket for work. Today I was treated to lunch by my secondment office as we welcomed in two new staff members (who, once they've found their feet, will render me obsolete - the words of my line manager!). We had some great food at Wagamama's and it was really nice to get a chance to chat to the new folk.

After work I headed off to Pizza Express to meet up with some of the girls from my office for dinner too; I completely spoiled myself today! I was aiming to get down to the harbour for an evening Blip again tonight, as I was disappointed with Tuesday's effort; but I mis-timed it and the light was gone before I'd got home to my camera. I ended up taking this snap of one of Kelly's Cats; the leopards which adorn Union Bridge. The leopards are known locally as Kelly's Cats after the architect William Kelly who designed them using the Aberdeen's Coat of Arms for inspiration. They were added to Union Bridge when it was extended in 1908.

Hmm, I'm a bit disillusioned with my Blips at the minute; I seem to have gone through a phase of some rubbish photos... But at least it's nearly the weekend, and I can perhaps come up with something good then.
