good day

Today has been remarkably productive! Pierre left at 5am to go to Marseille. I was dreading him leaving and couldn’t get back to sleep after he left. Once Marius and I got into the swing of things though, we had a brilliant day! He went down for his naps really easily, as well as bedtime tonight. We had a bike ride this afternoon. I’ve kept the place relatively tidy as well as feeding and bathing the wee man (didn’t bath him tonight; instead I sat him in the shower and he loved it!). I also managed to do some PA work as well as my tax return (relief!).

Now I’m sitting in front of the TV feeling quite proud of myself!

Pierre got his first day at the training school over with. He’s sharing a room with one other guy. He phoned tonight to say it was a bit of a shock, going from a warm, loving home to a sparse room with a single bed and some guy he doesn’t know sleeping in the same room as him! It’s gonna take some getting used to for the both of us.
