Variations on a Theme

Crocuses aplenty in the cold frame as the weather turns a little milder.  This is Crocus sieberi in a more typical form (an unusual form blipped two days back), white with purple markings.  The purple markings are infinitely variable on this Cretan snowmelt species.

Not only milder but also sunny, almost spring-like around the middle of the day.  We enjoyed a lazy start after what turned into a late night with Jamie.  He, like the weather, is looking brighter today.  A meeting this afternoon with the bosses from work took me one step closer to the end of the line.  Not something I am going to stress about since I can only be honest with them about the uncertainty surrounding any possible return to work.  Overall things have taken a more positive turn this year, who knows what lies ahead.
