Last of the snow?

The thaw has started  and I must confess that the novelty of being snowbound has worn thin.


As one friend put it:" the whole of one's life suddenly is suspended."
Of course if we knew we would have these conditions for the next six weeks then life would adjust to them.

Last night our 94 year old neighbour had her all night carer delivered by the police!  apparently none of the carers could get their car up the road, neither could a taxi hired by the care agency.
