Unbelievable Rescue Ideas
Ride 300 miles to the border on bikes. In the winter.
Pretend they're teachers on some sort of mission.
The problem: Out of country teachers have all left Iran.

The best of the bad ideas
Pose as filmmakers .
Scouting locations for a sci-fi movie, Argo.

With the grip of a horror movie.
The sweaty-palmed tension doesn't let up.
Until "the 6" leave Iranian air space.

And no one knew.
No one could know about this covert operation.
Not until 1990, anyway.
Then details were made public during the Clinton administration.
The heroes in Canada and US were finally given recognition.
