Mistle Thrush
I have never photographed a mistle thrush before. Nowadays we rarely see them or song thrushes.
During this week I've watched blackbirds and a fieldfare jumping and flapping up to grab holly berries and wondered if I could catch a shot of one doing it. This end of the garden is quite densely planted with trees and shrubs so I was amazed to have snapped the bird against the sky.
It had to be through the window, it would have stayed away if I'd been out there!
Thanks for your amazing response to my minimalistic shot yesterday. Obviously a case of "less is more"!
