Bubbly Blip
I was going through old water drop photos today and realized I had not blipped one in quite a long time (may be as long as 3 years ago).
So I slapped together the old "water drop studio" which involved:
- Filling a large dark pan of water and placed on a counter
- Hung a zip lock bag full of water (with a pin hole) above the pan,
- Hung some neon poster board on the wall behind the bag/pan
- Attached a macro lens and shoe flash to the camera
- Mounted camera to a tripod
- Manually focused on where the water drop was hitting the water
- Shutoff all the lights
- Fired off some test shots
- Swore a little bit as the photos weren't coming out just right.
- Adjusted the height of the camera and angle of the shoe flash
- Fired off some additional test shots and success
Then had a little fun...
