Birthday curry

IT was snowing this morning so we wondered whether the family would come as arranged. But it was very wet snow and not settling so no problem. Jem and George came, leaving Mikki at home with flu.
We were celebrating George's birthday, he will be seventeen tomorrow. He chose to go to an Indian restaurant and we went to one that was new to Normous and me, and the meal was excellent.
Tomorrow on his seventeenth birthday George has a driving lesson at 7.45 am! How keen is that?
