"Here's lookin' atcha!"

Squirrels everywhere, fighting and enjoying the huge pile of peanuts on the back doorstep. It's Squirrel Appreciation Day!

This was supposed to be Nora's Christening Day, wearing the little white cotton gown that all the children in my maternal grandfather's family wore, and Gregory as well. Poor little Nora has been sick with RSV, Respiratory syncytial (sin-SISH-uhl) virus, or RSV, is a common respiratory virus that usually causes mild, cold-like symptoms. Most people recover in a week or two, but RSV can be serious, especially for infants and older adults. In fact, RSV is the most common cause of bronchiolitis (inflammation of the small airways in the lung) and pneumonia (infection of the lungs) in children younger than 1 year of age in the United States. It is also a significant cause of respiratory illness in older adults.  Sarah and her pediatrician have been vigilant and the poor little scamp has improved on amoxicillin after a suction procedure at the hospital on Friday. She has a double ear infection and a cough that will last for weeks. Sarah is exhausted, but Nora is improving and my sister in law has been a huge help. I'm terrified of another bout of pneumonia, so I have stayed away. The Baptism has been rescheduled and we're all breathing easier as Nora improves.

I just got a little video of Nora today, much improved and crawling for the first time!

For the Record,
This day came in warmer with bright sun. It could be almost balmy today!

All hands proud of the marches yesterday
