Winter

We had a great evening last night.
Lots of reminiscing, much laughter, met and made new friends.
A very yummy meat and potatoe pie with mushy peas and mint sauce. Perfect supper for such a cold night. The pies were huge. Cut into squares. Each pie served about 20 large helpings. Mr C and one or too others had second helpings!
Then there was a choice of sweets.
I chose a very creamy millefleur.
Musn’t forget the disco. Always enjoy a good dance.

It was treacherous coming home last night, and now we have more snow, although it has turned to rain.

Haven’t ventured out except to feed the birds.
Extra shot is of the warming winter vegetable soup we had for lunch.

Now having a very relaxing afternoon listening to Radio Leeds and music from the shows.
Tapping my feet and singing along!
