Skateboarding on ice

This morning we had some more sleet and snow. I went to explore the Valley Gardens and this is the skateboard park. I have never ventured in there before as normally there are fearless youngsters doing the sort of flying stunts on their skateboards that I would never have dared to do. Today it was deserted and I had the place to myself. It was rather icy and I slipped and ended up on my backside trying to get a good position for a shot!
It looks almost like some sort of industrial or lunar landscape after playing with the contrast a bit.

As I type this, it is now snowing quite heavily, but I have turned the heating on and am hibernating for the afternoon.
